The Colorado LX 4x2 is built for work and is built tough as its high strength steel constructed body and frame incorporating full length frame rails combine to make an strong chassis which means it will handle anything you can throw at it, and the massive 3500kg towing capacity means you can tow just about anything you want with it as well.
If your in the market for an honest well built work truck or just a truck for towing your weekend toys around then you would be made not to take a look at the Colorado LX....

So after a week I found the Diesel Cruze CD Sportwagon to be not a bad car at all the ride is reasonable the diesel engine offers a good amount of power and excellent economy, there is a good amount of space and room.
While it won’t set the world on fire with its speed and agility it does make up for it with the practicality and added load carrying capability the sportwagon offers over its sedan and hatch brothers and sisters.
The only problem I see with the Cruze Sportwagon is that it could be a victim of its own circumstance. Being the only Cruze not locally built it is on a different build cycle to the Australian made Cruzes so the Sportswagon’s have not benefited from the latest update the local.
This car would be perfectly suited for a small business or sales rep that needs a car with decent load carrying ability and fuel economy but doesn’t need a bigger car....

So what's my verdict after spending a week in it, Well the Captiva 5 did start to grow on me by the end of the week.
Its nimble has a decent amount of space on the inside certainly more than you would expect looking from the outside.
Some people would find the lack of Bluetooth a downside but the audio system does have good sound but despite that it does posses a reasonable amount of features.
The 2.4L 4 cyl can produce some decent fuel economy and is very easy live with.
If are looking for a compact SUV with a reasonable amount of space, good on fuel, easy to park and packed full of safety features then you should have the Captiva 5 on your list....

So after a week in the VE SS Z Series Ute I came away with mixed feelings don't get me wrong it's a damn fine car that I would recommend to anybody the sound is unbelievable the power is awesome , it handles great, can hold a decent size load in the tray, oh did I mention the power and the sound. But it was let down by the lack of rear parking sensors and no rear view camera, while the manual gearbox would be perfect to anybody living in the country or outer suburbs that don't get the bumper to bumper traffic every day I get, it can can get very tiresome in traffic definitely in my situation the auto would definitely be a better choice....

The Colorado 7 is not perfect on the inside but it’s well equipped, priced at $10000 cheaper than some of it’s competitors the Colorado 7 is certainly very good value for money and that’s where i think Holden is on a winner .
Even though the price point alone makes it a very tantalising proposition for somebody wanting a new 4wd the fact it’s a very capable off road platform seals the deal for me.
If you’re looking for a big tough 4wd to take you & your family just about anywhere then you would be mad not to consider the Holden Colorado 7....

Ok so now I’ve spent a week in the SRi-V Cruze what do I think?, well it’s damn fine little car, superb handling, Agile responsive a generous amount of tech, great fuel economy, plenty of space on the inside and comfortable seats.
What more could you ask for well the only thing I really wanted more of apart from another week behind the wheel is more power I think more power would change this car from a decent car to exceptional....

The Holden Cruze is now ‘Australia’s small car’ with a big asterisk next to that statement. The addition of a wagon variant – naturally dubbed Sportwagon to complement Commodore – leaves only its sibling hatchback and sedan variants built locally, as the big-booted Cruze hails from South Korea....

With the exception of body strength and safety equipment, the Holden Barina Spark is stuck in another era, specifically in the period when the segment actually sold well. Having actually been badged as a Daewoo overseas when it launched, and with Epica defunct, Barina and Malibu developed by GM, and Cruze built here, it is the Holden brand’s final connection to the ill-fated Korean brand....

It’s understandable that the Holden Colorado 7 will perform better off-road than on. It doesn’t have to be sharp dynamically. However it’s the cabin quality and refinement issues that drag the big wagon down most....

Particularly considering its high-quality competition, the Holden Captiva 5 is left looking exposed. It is six years old and feels its age in many ways. But it does offer more space for less and decent array of features although, the lack of Bluetooth, or even a USB port is inexcusable for an SUV in this day and age....
